Ayurveda Treatment of Neck Pain is based on the cause of the problem and generally, if it is of recent origin, it responds quickly to conservative treatment approaches like rest, painkillers etc. Persistent neck pain is often caused due to Disc prolapse and arthritis of the cervical spine and it also leads to other complications like Cervical Radiculopathy etc.
Conventional treatment of neck pain is aimed at relieving the symptoms by the use of painkillers or through physiotherapy and traction. If these measures fail, patients are advised to undergo invasive procedures like epidural injections or surgery to release the pressure on the nerves that get pinched to get relief or to avoid further complications. However, these procedures are complicated and do not provide long term benefits.
